5. 定語從句中的主謂一致

   在定語從句中謂語動詞要和先行詞的數(shù)保持主謂一致。

例如：This is the man who wants to see you.

      這就是要看你的那位先生。    

6.其它的一致關(guān)系

1）動詞不定式短語、動名詞和從句作主語時，謂語用單數(shù)。

例如：To say something is one thing, to do is another.

      說是一回事， 做又是另一回事。

      Reading is a good habit.

      閱讀是個好習(xí)慣。

      Why he has not attended the meeting is still a secret.

      他為什么沒有來參加會議依然是個秘密。

2）a number of后面加復(fù)數(shù)名詞或代詞，其動詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式；

但the number of后面加復(fù)數(shù)名詞或代詞時，其謂語用單數(shù)。

例如：A number of students were absent today.

   今天有些學(xué)生沒來上課。

 The number of students is getting less less in this school.

     這個學(xué)校學(xué)生的數(shù)量越來越少。
